So 2006-2007 was a crazy time for people and their love of penguins. I saw most of those movies (I preferred Surf's Up to Happy Feet) and some time around there I drew this penguin and this week, as my "Dabble Project" I pulled it into Illustrator and finished it up. There were definitely some changes that I made along the way, as you can see. Sometimes it takes just a piece of my sketches to get me excited and then I try and pull all the other pieces up to the same energy. You can view this piece now in the Graphics section.

So after a 6 week on-site project I am starting my first week back in my studio. It was a great to meet some new people and connect with designers and project managers and get a better sense of publishing. I hope to stay in contact with many of the cool folks I was working with. I just finished up another set of Trading cards for The House Theatre of Chicago. They do these cards instead of Programs for their plays. If you'd like a set you can pick them up when you go to the show playing at the Building Theatre through April 19, 2008.
